Bremen – an historic city, I always like to travel in and which has a lot to offer – both old and new. For example, Bremen is a Hanseatic city.Hanseatic cities like Bremen – cities of the old Hanseatic League are something that is hardly known beyond the northern part of Europe. Even today in Bremen you can find many remnants from the time of the Hanseatic League. This picture is my attempt to abstract in a single image the diversity of Bremen and the special features that this city has to offer. On the one hand, there are its colors. Colorful like the city. Red and white as the colors of the city, blue as the color of the river Weser and the nearby sea. The sea, the basis for Bremen’s ports and trade activities of the city. The Bremen Cathedral as the landmark of the formerly large church area. And the Town Musicians of the Brothers Grimm, who moved to Bremen.
