The Energy of Movement - I think that was the first thing I was fascinated by at that moment.
Energy. This intangible thing, which exists in everything and everywhere. The driving force of nature. It even dwells in dormant things.
And yet it is fascinating to see it in motion, to feel it.
This movement, like a spiral, drew me into its magic. But always returning to the red stopping point. An eternal back and forth. in motion.
To simply freeze this movement or to express it with a long exposure seemed too boring to me. Seen too often.
Therefore I decided for a somewhat more abstract expression, in which I tried to express the energy felt also in its helical form and through colors and contrasts.
And to express thereby a little bit the other feeling, which moved me beside the fascination: Humility. Humility towards the work of creation, in which energy is always and everywhere inherent. Even when you do not see it.
