Arriving at this spot in the forest during one of my walks, I immediately felt myself taken back to days gone by.
Suddenly they were there: Memories of moments of earlier years - memories of romantic feelings at just such special places.
Places where you are not only in the nature. But are virtually surrounded by it, protected.
Places and moments in which the sun with its light seems to dance a pas de deux with nature.
Moments in which nature and sun seem to speak directly with your soul ...
Many people far too often just wait for such moments instead of looking for them. Passivity, resigning to fate and waiting - perhaps this is one of the biggest problems of mankind. Maybe it always has been.
In this image, I tried not to simply depict this unity of light and nature and the impressions and emotions associated with it through a 'color monster'. Not just make a colorful landscape photo, but leave exactly this part, the imposing nature of the colors to the imagination of viewers. A black and white photo seemed to me the most sensible way to do this ;-)
The emotions that I tried to capture in this image, I think, are awakened not only by memories. But it is often also desire. Desire for past times. But also yearning for future moments.
